The train from Curitiba to Paranaguá passes through as Montanhas do Marumbi.  Construction on the railroad started in 1880 and somewhere around 4,500 lives were gone before it was finished in 1985.  It is one of the oldest railroads in Brazil and still makes me dream of meus vagabundos e viajantes do mundo.

Escola.  Amazonas, Brasil.

Salto Augusto, Rio Juruena.  Brasil.

Doors that I came across while in transition.

Santo Amaro, Maranhao and Eureka, Nevada.

It has been awhile since I last posted anything.  I’ll blame it on transition.

The other side of the Amazon.
